Users that have a Manager classification or Administrator access in Design Cloud can create a Gallery to host public designs. For more information on Manager and Administrator access, please see Design Cloud: Administration.
To create a Gallery, take the following steps:
- While signed into the Design Cloud portal, click
Galleries.
- In Gallery Selection, click Create New Gallery.
- Enter your Gallery details.
- Enter the the internal reference for the gallery.
- Enter the public display name you want for the gallery.
- The Status drop-down allows you to edit existing galleries statuses from Active to Suspended or Archive.
You cannot change this in creation of a gallery.
- Tick Online use to immediately make available for online viewing.
- Tick 4D Theatre Use if you have this extension and want to link to your system. If you do not have 4D Theatre and would like to know more, please contact a sales representative via email: VirtualWorldsSales@cyncly.com.
- Tick Is Public on Request if you want to make the gallery available to other Design Cloud hosts to share on request.
- Enter the the internal reference for the gallery.
- Click
Create.
The gallery will now be active, and depending on the selections made, available to view publicly.
Note: The gallery starts empty and will need designs adding to it. The screen will update to the standard Edit Gallery view, where you can add Gallery Links, Edit Designs, View the gallery and make updates. For more guidance, click the following links:
