How to add a Company Logo or Address to your 2d plans

Adding a company logo or address to your 2D diagram legend in Virtual Worlds allows you to personalise designs with your business details.

 

Adding a Company Logo

  1. Prepare the Logo:
    • Open your logo image in Paint or another image editor.
       
    • Resize the image to 433x213 pixels.
       
    • Save the file in Bitmap (.BMP) format.
       

  2. Save the Logo File:

    Save the resized .BMP file to the following directory: 

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Virtual Worlds\Pages\Project\Generic 4.0\planlegends

  3. Edit the Configuration File:

    • Navigate to the same folder and open the CustomLegendFields.ini file using Notepad.
       
    • Add a new entry at the bottom of the file in this format:
    CompanyLogo=C:\Program Files (x86)\Virtual Worlds\Pages\Project\Generic 4.0\planlegends\Logo.bmp

    Replace the file path with the exact location and name of your logo file.

  4. Save Changes:

    Go to File and Save or press Ctrl + S.

Adding a Company Address

  1. Create an Address Entry:

    • Open the CustomLegendFields.ini file in Notepad.
       
    • Add a new entry at the bottom of the file in this format:
    CompanyAddress=Your Company Name\nStreet Address\nCity\nPostcode

    Use \n to start a new line. A maximum of 4 lines is allowed.

  2. Save Changes:

    Go to File and Save or press Ctrl + S.

Viewing the Customised Legend

  1. Open Virtual Worlds Professional and generate a 2D Diagram.
     
  2. Use the Print Preview or Toggle Page Bounds feature to view your company logo and address included in the legend.
