In Virtual Worlds Professional, the Product Information options in the Unit Properties section allow you to customize the visibility and behavior of product-related data in your 2D diagrams.
To access the product information settings:
- Open the 2D Diagrams window.
- Select the unit or item you want to modify.
- Navigate to the Unit Properties tab where you'll find the Product Information tick box.
Within the Product Information section of the Unit Properties, you will find several options that control how product details are displayed in your 2D diagrams:
- Code: Displays the product's code or SKU in the diagram.
- Description: Adds the product's name label to the diagram, providing clarity on which items are being used.
After selecting your desired product information options, click Apply Settings to update your diagram. These changes will be reflected immediately in the 2D view, showing the product details you've selected.
Once the Code or Description has been added to your design, you can adjust its placement within the diagram. Simply left-click and drag the text box to the desired location on the screen. This action will automatically create an arrow from the text box to the selected item, ensuring clear reference points between the label and the product.
