Custom templates in Virtual Worlds Professional allow
you
to standardise the look and feel of your 2D diagrams, ensuring consistency
across projects. Below is a guide on how to create and manage custom
templates
for your diagrams.
To begin creating a custom template, open the 2D Diagrams window and select the Edit button.
To edit the template, use the tick boxes shown in the second image to adjust what elements are displayed in your diagrams, such as symbols, dimensions, and schedule. You can manage these settings for each layer of the diagram.
When satisfied with the template, select Save As... to confirm it. Enter a name in the Template Name field for easier access.
To apply a template, start a new 2D diagram and select your custom template from the Template menu. This will load the pre-configured template settings, allowing you to build on a consistent foundation.
To make changes to an existing template, highlight the custom template and select Edit... and repeat the steps above. Ensure that you Save As using the same template name to overwrite the old template.
