When creating 2D plans or elevations in Virtual Worlds Professional, selecting the right template is crucial for tailoring the visibility and layout of elements in your design. Templates allow you to control which items are shown, which dimensions are visible, and how the overall diagram is presented.
Access the 2D Diagrams Tool
First, ensure your 3D design is ready. Click on the 2D Diagrams button located on the toolbar next to the 4D icon to access the diagram tool.
Open the Template Selection Dialog
Once you have clicked on the 2D Diagrams button, the 2D Diagrams window will appear. In this window, you will find the option to select a template for your diagram.
Choose a Template
You can either select a default template or create a custom template. Default templates are pre-configured with general settings, while custom templates allow you to specify which elements are dimensioned and how they are represented in your diagram.
You can select the Edit... button to create your own custom template to use. You can learn more about this by clicking here.
