Pricing methods in Virtual Worlds One Price can vary depending on the type of product. For instance, bathroom accessories may be priced per item, while fitted furniture such as plinths or cornices might be priced based on length. Similarly, tiling can be priced by square metre or per box. All of these pricing variations are handled directly within the quote page.
Pricing Scenarios
The image below demonstrates different variations in pricing. In this example:
-
Accessories and Furniture (1) are priced per item.
-
Worktops (2) are priced per length or metre.
-
Tiles (3) are priced per pack.
Pricing Tiles
In the case of tiles, the Sales Price has an asterisk (*) to indicate that the item is priced by a specific amount, for example per pack of tiles.
- The top Quantity box refers to the number of tiles in the design.
- The bottom box indicates the number of packs required.
You can override either of the two quantity boxes, and the price will update accordingly.
| Note: The boxes will be highlighted in red if the selection cannot be purchased, such as ordering 4.2 boxes or lengths. |
Pricing Fitted Furniture
In the case of fitted furniture, the Sales Price also has an asterisk (*) to indicate that the item is priced by a specific amount — in this case, by each 3-metre length.
- The top Quantity box refers to the metreage.
- The bottom box indicates the number of lengths required.
As with tiles, you can override either box, and the price will update.
| Note: If the boxes are highlighted in red, you will need to change the quantity to a valid number (e.g., 1 length instead of 0.89 lengths). |
