The Virtual Worlds One Price system allows you to export quote details as a CSV file. By creating custom export formats, you can control how this information is integrated with third-party systems used in your business.
To begin, click the Quote Management button, and the Custom Export Formats option from there.
CSV Export Options
When creating a custom CSV export, there are four options available to control the format:
-
Write headers row on export – Adds a column header for each column in the file.
-
Write installation costs row – Adds a separate row for detailing installation costs.
-
Write discount row – Adds a separate row for detailing any quote discounts.
-
Write VAT row – Adds a separate row for detailing VAT information.
Adding Fields to the Custom CSV Export
To specify the information for the custom CSV export, use the Add Field button and select the desired information from the dropdown list. The order in which you add these fields will determine the order of the columns in the exported CSV file.
Edit Column Headers: Use the edit icon to specify a custom column header title in the CSV export.
Saving the Custom Export Format
Once you’ve finished configuring your custom export format, click the Save Changes button. The saved export format will now be available in the Reports section of any quote, ready for you to generate as needed.
