Add a personal touch, unleash your creativity, or spark inspiration by creating custom tiles in Virtual Worlds Professional.
Before saving your tile, you will need to prepare the image for your tile. It is also beneficial to create your own custom tile catalogue. Once complete, you can access the database tile record and enter the details for your tile. Here are all the steps you need to follow:
- Name the image file a simple, appropriate name so it is easily read in Virtual Worlds Professional.
- Save the image as a JPEG or .jpg file.
It is recommended to create your own custom tile catalogue instead of adding your new tile to a supplier's, as when the catalogue is updated, you will lose your custom tile information.
Note: If you have previously created a custom tile folder, you can skip this step. |
- In the One Touch Tiling toolbar, click the Tile Browser icon.
- In the Tile Browser window, click Catalogue Tools and select Catalogue Maintenance.
- In the Catalogue Maintenance window, click New Catalogue.
- The Save As window will open for you to save the custom tile file in Virtual World's Program Files.
- Check the file address ends in: Virtual Worlds > Catalogue > Tiling.
- Check the file address ends in: Virtual Worlds > Catalogue > Tiling.
- Enter the name of your custom tile catalogue in File Name.
