In Virtual Worlds, doors and windows can be added to your plan and recessed into the walls. You can also add an architrave, or a door frame, to a door.

How to insert a door
- Click the Catalogue tab in the control panel.
- Select the Generic collection.
- Click Architectural Doors.
- Locate the door you want and click to highlight.
- Confirm the side of the door in the Handedness drop-down.
- Click Insert Unit.

Click and drag the door in the plan to position where you want it to be.
- With the door still grabbed, right-click your mouse.
- In the Recess Depth window, confirm depth. Tick Rotate door if you want the door to be opening outward of the room.
- Click OK.

How to insert a window
- Click the Catalogue tab in the control panel.
- Select the Generic collection.
- Click Architectural Windows.
- Locate the window you want and click to highlight.
- Click Insert Unit.

Click and drag the window in the plan to position where you want it to be.
- Click the Layout tab in the control panel.
- Click the red lock in the top right-hand side of the control panel.
- You can now drag your window vertically to position. Use the height arrows in the control panel to adjust in mm.
- With the window still grabbed, right-click your mouse.
- In the Recess Depth window, confirm depth and click OK.
