In Virtual Worlds, doors and windows can be added to your plan and recessed into the walls. You can also add an architrave, or a door frame, to a door.

How to Insert a Door
- Click the Catalogue tab in the control panel. Navigate to Generic and the Architectural Doors.
- Locate the door you want and click to highlight.
- Confirm the side of the door in the Handedness drop-down and select Insert Unit.

Click and drag the door in the plan to position where you want it to be. Once the door is correctly positioned, right-click your mouse.
- In the Recess Depth window, confirm depth. Tick Rotate door if you want the door to be opening outward of the room. Select OK once you're happy.

How to Insert a Window

Click the Catalogue tab in the control panel. Navigate to Generic and then Architectural Windows.

Locate the window you want and click to highlight it.

Select Insert Unit and click and drag the window in the plan to position it where needed.
- Once the window is positioned, click the Layout tab in the control panel and unlock the red lock icon to adjust the window height manually.
- In the Recess Depth window, confirm the depth and select OK once you're happy with the placement.
