To request a new software licence, new dongle licence, or register a new user on your network licence, first ensure that Virtual Worlds has been installed on your computer.

Requesting a new software licence

To request a new software licence, contact Virtual Worlds.

Once you have received your welcome email with your new Licence ID, start Virtual Worlds.
Registering your new licence
In Virtual Worlds:
- In the menu bar, located at the top of your screen, select Help > Activate Licence.
- In the Activate Licence dialog, click New User - Register a Licence:
- Your internet browser will open to our Licence Registration page. Enter the correct details in the required fields and click Register Licence.
Activating your new licence
Once you have received confirmation that your licence has been registered:
- Start Virtual Worlds.
- In the menu bar, located at the top of your screen, select Help > Activate Licence.
- Enter your Licence ID in the Licence ID field and click Activate Licence:

Activating your new dongle licence
| Note! To use your new dongle licence or new network licence, you must first install Sentinel Protection from the Virtual Worlds User Centre. For more information, see How to install and update from the Virtual Worlds User Centre. |
In Virtual Worlds:
- In the menu bar, located at the top of your screen, select Help > Activate Licence.
- Ensure your new dongle licence is plugged into a compatible USB port on your PC or laptop.
- In the Activate Licence dialog, click Activate Dongle:
Registering a new user on your network dongle licence

In Virtual Worlds:
- In the menu bar, located at the top of your screen, select Help > Activate Licence.
- Ensure your new dongle licence is plugged into a compatible USB port on your PC or laptop.
- In the Activate Licence dialog, click Select Network Dongle:
- In the Network Dongle Selector dialog, left-click to select your network dongle from the list, and click Select.
| Note! Ensure your machine is connecting to the same network as the machine which has your network dongle licence plugged in. |
