Quotes can be generated either directly from a 3D design in Virtual Worlds Professional or via the One Price Portal by selecting New Quote from the home page.
| Note: To ensure that a quote displays priced items, make sure you are designing with items from priced catalogues and that the relevant supply chains are set up in the One Price Portal before generating the quote. |
Generating a Quote from Virtual Worlds Professional
1. Ensure the catalogues you are using have a pricing symbol next to them, indicating that they have been priced on the system.
2. Complete your design and click on the Refresh Costs button in the Pricing Toolbar to generate a total price.
3. To view the breakdown of the quote, click the Review Costs button.
| Note: If a price is requested in Virtual Worlds Professional for a previously un-costed room file, the design is automatically added to the One Price Portal. Be sure to save the room file after this step to associate it with that design. |
Generating a Quote from One Price Portal
1. Log in to the One Price Portal and select New Quote from the home page.
2. Fill in the customer details and select Create Design from the New Design page.
3. This will open the Quote Details screen where you can build your quote in full.
At this point, Virtual Worlds Professional is synchronised with the One Price Portal, and any quotes can be viewed or amended on either system.
