When rendering images in Virtual Worlds Professional, there are different projection types depending on the image output you need. The differences may appear subtle, but can assist in presenting a better, professional image for your clients.

Navigating to Projection type
The projection options are located in the Create Image window.
- Click Tools in the menu bar and select Create Image File... .
- In the Create Image window, go to the Image section and click the Projection drop-down.
- In the Projection drop-down, you have the choice of five projection types.

Click the Projection type drop-down to select the following options:

ArchitecturalRenders an image using a one point perspective to straighten architectural lines, creating a precise and professional image. |
Panoramic (Cylindrical) |

Renders a panoramic 360 degree image of your design. This image can then be used in the 360 viewer in Design Cloud by anyone who has the file. Note: For detailed guidance on creating panoramic images, see Create a Panoramic image. |
Orthographic
Renders an image with depth perception removed, providing a more technical image. Note: This option is only usable when the Orthographic view is active. For guidance on using Orthographic view and developing images in this projection type, see Using Orthographic view . |
