All items placed in your plan have their own properties, which can be adjusted. If the object can emit any light, the option to choose its light properties is also included in the Lighting Wizard.

Access Light Properties
When you have inserted a light, ensure it is selected to open its properties.
- Click the Select tool and click on the light object.
- Right-click and navigate to Properties and then Selection Properties.
- In the Selection Properties window, click Light in the left panel.
Light Properties Details
Filament Power Settings (Wattage)
Wattage settings allow you to change the strength of the light the selected object emits.

Switched on: Tick or untick to toggle the light on or off.

Wattage: Select standard wattage options, or select "Other" to enter a specific value.
Note: An increased wattage may help reduce washed-out colours on objects and surfaces.
Render Settings
Render settings allow you to change the light and shadow type.

Type: Choose the type of light that will be rendered by selecting "Spotlight" or "Point Light."

Spotlights: Generate light in a specific direction.

Point Lights: Generate light in all directions.

Spotlights: Generate light in a specific direction.

Shadows: Choose the shadow level for the light source.

None: Removes any shadows for the selected light.

Soft: Wrap shadows around objects with a blended shadow.

Solid: Produce sharp, contrasting shadows.

None: Removes any shadows for the selected light.

Colour: Open a colour chart to select a colour and change the room's mood.

Show light in reflections: Tick or untick to toggle light in reflections.
Spotlight Settings
These settings are available if "Spotlight" is selected in Render Settings.

Cone Angle: Set the angle at which light travels from the source. Straight down is 0 degrees.

Edge Blur: Adjust the blur around the cone's edge. 0% is sharpest, 100% is the most blurred.
Note: Edge blur can help produce realistic lighting effects when used with soft shadows.
Area Light
These settings are for Photographic light sources with no fixtures.

Show area light source: Tick to show the source of the light in renders.

Double-sided: Generate light from both sides of the area light.
Note: This setting may help brighten dark ceilings. - Brightness relative to area: Adjust brightness depending on the area size.
Once you have made your adjustments, click Apply or Apply and Close to save and see the changes immediately.
Updating Multiple Light Objects
Clicking Apply keeps the Selection Properties window open, allowing quick adjustments to another light by clicking on it.
To adjust multiple lights simultaneously, hold Shift and Select each light. Changes made in the Selection Properties window will apply to all selected lights when Apply is clicked.
