You can change the grout colour of any tile template by accessing its Template Dialog and updating the Region's Grout Type.
The following guidance details changing the grout colour of a tile template, as well as updating the Image preview for the pattern.
1. Open the Template Dialog and access the template's region
- Ensure that the Template Catalogue that contains the tile template you want to update is selected in the Template Catalogue Selection.
- Click the 1-Touch-Tiling Template Dialog icon:
- In the Template Dialog window, double-click the tile template you want to update in the Template/Region area on the left hand side.
This will open the regions featured in the tile template.
- Click the region you want to update the grout colour.
2. Navigate to Grout Type and update colour
- The Region provides deeper settings for your tile template. Grout Type is in the Spacing section:
- In Grout Type, ensure Colour is selected and click the colour drop-down to the right.
Note: The colour in the drop-down box will be the current grout colour.
- Select your required colour and click OK.
- Click Other... to open a detailed colour menu.
- In the colour menu, select the colour and click Add to Custom Colours. Ensure the new colour is selected and click OK.
The grout colour will now be updated, but before closing the dialog to save the template, it is recommended to update the Pattern Preview for future use.
3. Update the Pattern Preview
- With the template still highlighted in the Template/Region list in the left-hand section, click View Example Image in the bottom left.
- In the Template Image Preview window, click Regenerate Preview Image.
- The preview will update and you will be asked to accept the new image. Click Yes.
- In the File Name Input window, you can enter a new name for the preview image, or you can overwrite the image preview by going straight to clicking OK - you will be asked to confirm the overwrite by clicking Yes.
- Click OK to complete.
4. Save and re-tile surface
- You can now close the dialog to save by clicking OK.
Note: Any clicks to a different template or closing the dialog by clicking OK will prompt a request to save changes.
- Click Yes to the Save Changes? prompt.
- Click the Template Selection icon to confirm your template choice.
- In the Template Selection Dialog select your edited template and click Select.
- Click on the surface you want the new grout colour to appear.
If you get the Template Conflict Options prompt, click Replace Template to refresh the previous grout colour.
