Sticky Props in Virtual Worlds Professional enhance the realism of 3D environments by allowing items to stick to interactive objects. When enabled, these items move in sync with other objects that have actions, creating a dynamic and realistic experience in your designs.
For example, a bathrobe hanging on a hook attached to a bathroom door will move with the door as it opens. This feature is particularly useful in creating immersive environments for customer presentations or when using Virtual Worlds 4D Theatre.
Using Sticky Props
The Generic Props Catalogue has been updated to include items that are automatically set as Sticky Props. However, you can also convert any item into a Sticky Prop as needed. This is especially useful for attaching custom elements, like separate handles to a piece of bespoke furniture.
How to Enable Sticky Props Mode
- Right-click on the item you want to make sticky.
- Select Properties and then Sticky Props Mode to enable it.
To disable Sticky Mode, repeat these steps to turn it off.
