If you are experiencing difficulties with your headset, or the Leap Motion (how the headset identifies your hands), please ensure that your cables are secure before moving on to other troubleshooting checks.
Both the headset power and Leap Motion plug into the same area above the left eye. Take the following steps to remove the covering panel and check the cables.

Take the headset and place on a flat, clean surface. |

Remove the top head strap at the back of the headset. |

Remove the eye cover, which is fixed on with Velcro. |
1. | Remove the panel covering the headset power and Leap Motion cable feed. This panel is located above the left eye and can be removed by pushing it directly away from the goggles, following the arrow shown in the image above. The first time you do this, it may feel as though you are breaking the headset; however, this panel is designed to be removed for access to the cables. |
1. | With the panel removed, you should now be able to see the two cables feeding into the headset.

2. | Check that both cables are properly pressed into the headset. Note: Ensure the plugs are free from dust before reinserting them. |
Once the cables are secure, place the panel back over them, ensuring a firm fit with a slight click.
