Applying paint to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in Virtual Worlds allows you to customise and enhance your designs effortlessly. Whether using custom colours or manufacturer paint catalogues, the process is simple and intuitive.
How to Apply Paint

Open the Paint Tool
- In the 3D View tab, select the Paint Tool icon.

Select a Colour
- The Select Paint window will open.
- Choose from:

Custom Colours – Manually adjust hue, saturation, and brightness or enter RGB values for precise colours.

Standard Colours – Select from preset options.

Manufacturer Catalogues – Browse professional colour ranges and finishes.

Apply the Paint
- Left-click the colour preview, then hover over the surface in your design.
- Click to apply the paint.
- Use Apply to All Walls for consistent coverage across the room.
Using Manufacturer Paint Catalogues
Virtual Worlds supports paint catalogues from manufacturers like RAL and Ca’Pietra, allowing you to select real-world colours with professional finishes, including matte, gloss, or satin.
- Open the Paint Tool.
- In the Select Paint window, choose a catalogue from the Custom drop-down.
- Browse by range, finish, or category, or search by colour code.
- Select and apply the paint to your design.
Additional Tools & Shortcuts

Enquire Tool – Pick an existing colour from your design and apply it elsewhere.
- Favourites – Save up to ten colours for quick access.
