In Virtual Worlds, you can load a backup file to restore a design to a previous version or recover an unsaved design.

- Launch Virtual Worlds Professional.
- Select File > Open Backup.
- In the Open window, you will see a list of folders with the names of your designs. Open the desired folder, select the desired backup file, and click Open.
Note: Backup files are marked with the date and time they were created, for example, (05-02-2020 1406) is a backup file created on the 05/02/2020 at 14:06. Designs which the user did not save manually, but were autosaved, are listed as Untitled.
Note! Backups of unsaved designs will be overwritten if the user begins a new project that then autosaves before they manually save the file. To manage your autosave settings, see How to manage backup files.
